At Smart Tek Innovations, we stand behind the quality and performance of our LED Smart lamps All products purchased directly from Smart Tek Innovations come with a manufacturer-backed warranty to give you peace of mind.
This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how to make a warranty claim.
1. Warranty Coverage
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, all Smart Tek Innovations products include:
✔ 2-Year Limited Warranty
Covers LED light bars, spot lamps, work lights, LED controllers, and accessories.
✔ Coverage Period
The warranty begins on the original date of purchase. It lasts for the period stated on the product listing (typically 24 months from the date of purchase).
✔ What's Covered
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, including:
• LED failure due to manufacturing defects
• Internal component failure
• Waterproofing or sealing defects (for IP-rated products)
• Faulty wiring or connectors (factory-installed)
• Power supply or driver faults
• Premature failure not caused by misuse, abuse, or improper installation
✔ Warranty Remedies
If a covered defect occurs within the warranty period under normal use, we will provide, at our sole discretion:
• A replacement product, or
• A repair, or
• Store credit (if the product is discontinued), or
• A refund (where required by applicable law)
Smart Tek Innovations reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy based on the circumstances.
2. What's Not Covered (Exclusions)
This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
• Incorrect installation (including improper wiring, over-voltage, or incorrect voltage)
• Modifications, alterations, tampering, or disassembly by anyone other than Smart Tek Innovations
• Misuse, neglect, abuse, or failure to follow product instructions
• Accidents, collisions, impact damage, or physical damage
• Use outside recommended voltage ranges or specifications
• Water damage caused by opening, modifying, or damaging factory seals
• Normal wear and tear
• Corrosion, rust, or deterioration due to improper maintenance or environmental exposure
• Damage caused by other equipment, accessories, or incompatible products
• Acts of nature, including flood, fire, lightning, earthquake, or extreme weather
• Commercial or rental use (unless specifically covered)
• Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or third parties
Consumable Items: Mounting hardware, brackets, wiring harnesses, and similar accessories may not be covered unless a manufacturing defect is present.
Used or Refurbished Products: May have different or limited warranty terms as stated at the time of sale.

3. Proof of Purchase Required
To make a warranty claim, you must provide:
• Your order number or proof of purchase (receipt or invoice)
• Clear photos or videos showing the defect
• A detailed description of the issue
We cannot process warranty claims without valid proof of purchase from Smart Tek Innovations.
4. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To submit a warranty claim, follow these steps:

Step 2 – Provide Evidence
Send clear photos or videos showing the defect or issue.

Step 4 – Resolution
If your claim is approved, we will arrange:
• A replacement product, or
• A repair, or
• Store credit or refund (depending on the situation and applicable law)
Important: Some items may need to be returned for inspection before a warranty decision is made. We will provide return instructions if required.
5. Return Shipping for Warranty Claims
UK and EU Customers:
• If the product is confirmed to be defective under warranty, Smart Tek Innovations will cover reasonable return shipping costs for approved replacements or repairs.
• If the product is found not to be defective, or damage was caused by misuse or improper installation, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees.
USA Customers:
• Return shipping policies may vary. Contact us for specific instructions.
• If the product is confirmed defective, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable shipping costs.
All Customers:
• Products must be returned in their original packaging (or equivalent protective packaging).
• We are not responsible for products lost or damaged during return shipping unless we provided a prepaid return label.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
Smart Tek Innovations is not responsible for:
• Labour costs for installation, removal, or reinstallation
• Damage caused to vehicles, equipment, or property
• Loss of income, business interruption, or downtime
• Errors or damage caused by third-party installation or modification
• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
This warranty covers the product only, not consequential losses or damages.
Maximum Liability: Our total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the purchase price you paid for the defective product.
Duration of Implied Warranties: To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are limited to the duration of this express warranty.
7. Products Purchased from Third Parties
This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Smart Tek Innovations through our official website or authorized channels.
Products purchased from third-party sellers, online marketplaces (e.g., eBay, Amazon), or unauthorized resellers must be returned to the original seller for warranty service.
We cannot verify authenticity or provide warranty support for products not purchased directly from us.
8. Your Legal Rights
UK and EU Customers:
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under:
• UK Consumer Rights Act 2015
• EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU)
• Sale of Goods legislation in your country
Your legal rights are not affected by this warranty. You may have additional rights under consumer protection laws, including the right to repair, replacement, or refund for faulty goods.
USA Customers:
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
Important: Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits our liability for:
• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law
9. Warranty Transfers
This warranty is non-transferable. It applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners or users.
10. Changes to This Warranty
We may update this Warranty Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products, services, or legal requirements.
Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. The warranty terms that apply to your purchase are those in effect on your date of purchase.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
UK and EU Customers: This warranty is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.
USA Customers: This warranty is governed by the laws of the state in which you purchased the product, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Alternative Dispute Resolution: If you are not satisfied with our response to a warranty claim, you may have the right to use alternative dispute resolution services or file a complaint with a consumer protection authority in your jurisdiction.
